I haven't run across this before.... I have a LAN with a few linux boxes from os10.3 to os13.1. One of the 13.1 boxes can connect to the router, configure it, etc but any attempt to get outside of the network gives me a network not found error. i.e. I can ping the router but no outside addresses. All the other boxes work just fine. The only clue is the router's LAN device session log which shows between 45 and 66 open sessions. I looked at top and ps and don't see anything going on there, dmesg wasn't any help either. This box has worked just fine until a few days ago when I thought the Tenda USB wireless had quit. I finally got around to replacing it with an Asus USB device today and noticed the problem. I then started an evening-long exercise in futility trying to get the so-called linux driver working then, in frustration, I plugged in the "bad" Tenda unit and it lit up, it made connection to the router, but I cannot ping out, just like the problem with the Asus unit. So, what happened? I don't have a clue. The Asus unit is configured as a static IP on the LAN, the Tenda is set up with DHCP. Yes, I rebooted the box.
