Hi Lance, Me too faced it once. Just select the gnome repo, from which you installed the gnome packages - say, gnome-3.12 and apps for gnome-3.12. After doing a distribution upgrade that upgraded many files, I can't get Gnome to start correctly. I get the "Something has gone wrong" message. Xfce and Kde work.
I would hate to do a fresh install!
I doubt you can help me with that little bit of information, but what information should I send?
