A few days ago someone asked about a burner that was supported by linux.
Guilty.
I just looked at my new LaCie 300980 internal that I bought for a mac. Double Layer and Light Scribe. The box also says: Linux: Tested with K3b v.012.14 with Mandriva 2006, / Fedora Core 4 / SUSE 10 / Unbuntu 5.10 (Software not included)
Thanks for the info. I always give preference to hardware that mentions its Linux support. I'll take a look at the LaCie drives.
