Hello
In June 2005 I bought an ASUS P4C800 Delux main board with a Promise TX4000 chip on it. I downloaded the driver for SuSE Linux 9.1 from www.promise.com and all worked fine.
For security reasons I have to update to SuSE Linux 10.0 now, but I cannot find a driver. I tried to compile the source, which can be downloaded from www.promise.com, but this source is for kernel 2.4.
How can I install SuSE Linux 10.0 using the Promise Software RAID controller?

I could be wrong but when I last checked SuSE10.0 has that driver built in. mmm curious.. I loaded a PC with promise sata drive last week, let me see if it is also a TX4000.. Will get back to you.. Chadley
