Well, yes. Disk-to-disk-to<something> is a good basic strategy, given the right <something>
let it be another disk. Disks are that cheap, that you always can afford a second one to bring it to a different building - just in case of any physical desaster. You should have a spare controller in the same location, though. Otherwise you also might run into troubles when trying to recover your backup. Even better if you have a complete server there.
