After installing 10.2 I have once been able to scan with Kooka. Since then I have to start Kooka twice to get it on screen, but is it loaded twice. I get the message: No scanner found, no sane installed. Yet the scanner is configured and sane installed.

How to take this obstacle?
As workaround use xsane (or xscanimage: package sane-frontends).

Installed Xsane flawless After starting Xsane i got: Could not find apparatus hpaio:usb/PSC_2100_Series?serial=MY35BF43860F “Fault during communication” After configuring the scanner in Yast the test resulted in: scanimage: open of device hpaio:usb/PSC_2100_Series?serial=MY35BF43860F failed: Error device I/O Configuring the scanner with hplip instead of hpaio was refused Seems there are problems configuring the scanner Any idea how I can solve this ?
