Thanks. I am using 12.1. Any idea why was it depreciated and which app replaced it? I was using it excessively to keep my data synced on my HHDs in Ubuntu box.
Thanks for the pointer to the old repo. Trying to install but fear it may break or not stay updated.
The entire contrib repo was deprecated with 12.1
Instead the maintainers were encouraged to put their packages into the main factory repo.
Look in OBS to see who the old maintainer was and send them an email asking that they make it available for 12.1 somewhere and that they submit it to factory for the future.
That would be me. As there is interest in having this package in Factory, I'll take care of submitting it there (originally, I've packaged it mostly for fun).
I have just updated the package in the network project to grsync-1.2.1. Please test and report bugs.
I also created https://features.opensuse.org/313164 and added myself as a developer so that I don't forget to submit the package to Factory for 12.2.
Right now it does not build due to some weird compilation error, but I'll investigate.
This should be fixed now.
Thanks Peter. I am writing about it in Muktware. Thanks again for such a great tool. Best Swapnil
Petr
