I have a rather annoying issue with amarok. Whenever I try to play a stream (whether launched via a browser or from the stream tab) a copying window pops up and tries to copy the stream as a file. The copy obviously never finishes.
Why are the streams trying to be saved to a tmp file and not played directly?
I had the same problem on 9.2. The SuSE rpm seems to be broken. I compiled the latest release of amarok and it works fine (I'm listening somafm on it right now :) ). I built an rpm so if you want I can e-mail it directly to you or put it up on the web (which is probably a better idea).

Yes please , let me know where I can find it or send it to me.
Here it is: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/brana7/linux.html I put a couple of other rpms I made for other applications I use. I also put a little disclaimer. I don't have too much experience in building rpms so I can't guarantee their quality (dependencies, upgrades...) but they work fine on my installation of 9.2. Let me know if you have any problems. Have fun, Brana
