Hi all,
I have my Suse installed quite a while now. Still can figure out how(if possible) to receive and transmit email to and fro local Microsoft email exchange server.
The Exchange server would have to be contacted using true standard protocols like POP3, IMAP, and SMTP. AFAIK, there is no proper way for a Linux box to take advantage of the Exchange server's proprietary protocols. It's half up to the administrator to configure the Unix protocols, and half up to you to pick and configure your mail client appropriately. -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
