I lent a friend my Suse 5.0 cd's. He is having a problem getting the system to recognize his/the school's Allied Telesyn AT2000 network card. It is an NE2000-compatible card, which the Suse online support db says bad things about. But the card doesn't freeze the system, the system can't even get the network going. Also, there is no /dev/eth0. Any ideas, anyone?? - mikeh -- ============================================================================== || Mike Hostetler || || <A HREF="http://www.binary.net/thehaas"><A HREF="http://www.binary.net/thehaas</A">http://www.binary.net/thehaas</A</A>> || || email1: mhostetl@cse.unl.edu || || email2: thehaas@binary.net || ============================================================================== || `When you say "I wrote a program that crashed Windows", people just || || stare at you blankly and say "Hey, I got those with the system, || || *for free*".' - Linus Torvalds || ============================================================================== -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
