Hello List, when hovering Mouse pointer, over Desktop Application launcher Icon, one sees: 1. Application Icon 2. Type : 3. Size: 4. Last Modified ........... but, mysteriously, most Icons [ such as kwrite, or thunderbird ] show Type : <an old program long sinceused > - am mystified "How" did this old program become the Type: associated with almost all the Icons on the Desktop !! . . . and "How" please to edit away this irrelevance ?? _________________________ many thanks to Adam Tauno Williams ..............
