I'm using the client on openSUSE heavily for a long time now and it works quite well compared to others I have tried and had to use.
strange, but for me, it does not work well.
the client itself seems to work, but it has a dependency to packages ibus and ibus-m17n, which, after installed, changed keyboard layout to english and this was not changeable.
i am running KDE, and found out that many people have problems with this:
I'm running Xfce and Gnome and have a consistently working german keyboard layout. Also using 15.2 and TW on those two machines. I also never had such an issue before.
So it sounds like a combination of ibus and KDE which is the issue and not Zoom?
Might be. It was messing up my xterm behavior thhough... But I just locked ibus and accept to 'break zoom' by not installing the dependency. No issues with that. So it's not a hard dependency that prevents it from running.
