I want to thank Clayton for reminding me about the PAE kernel. Turns out it was installed and all I had to do was change the boot CD to give me a choice of default or PAE. I'm now using the PAE kernel and free shows 8Gb of memory. Thanks, Terry PS: I guess when I install 11.2 I should use the 64bit kernel. -- openSUSE 11.1 -- Kernel 2.6.27 -- GNU/Linux -- Mon 11/23/09 4:20pm up 0:01, 4 users, load average: 3.40, 0.91, 0.31 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
