How kde decides (konqueror, krusader) the type of a file?
man file will give a better explanation that I can.
Sometimes the file's icon in krusader does not correspond to the extension.
the extension does not *define* the file tipe, but is just part of the file-name and *may* indicate it's type depending on the intention of the "namer". - -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4-svn4472 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHMhJ7ClSjbQz1U5oRAoV4AKCc+TCwByHjyeN9fCZce6LlWbFSswCgnizm f6+QT3vHihdtBKavaHf43ek= =SzXi -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
