You don't really need it. Yast will link it to libXm.so.3? when you install it. At least that's what it did for me. But I had to install it by going to the directory it was in an click on it. Then click on the "Install Package with YAST" button. This is how I installed the static version. I do have openmotif installed from 8.2, assuming you're using 8.2.
