I had a similar problem which I could only solve by switching from NetworkManager to the traditional method. Unfortunately that's not quite simple with the current RCs. There is a description how to switch from the traditional method to NetworkManager in https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=798348#c36 , you have to do the exactly other way round (before you do it manually you could try if the problem has been fixed in the meantime). I didn't have time to further investigate the problem, but when I remember right, I had (working) connections only for a few seconds then it disconnected and connected again. With ifup the connections are working fine.
