How did you manage to force it to download? I've had mine set to the Factory repos for days now and it hasn't downloaded 4.2 via zypper or YasT. Yast reports it as 4.1 installed and available.
If it's from another repo, YaST and zypper see it as a "vendor change", which is disabled by default. Either you use "zypper dup" instead of "zypper up", or you use YaST -> Software Management -> View -> Repositories -> (the LO-Factory-repo) -> in the green bar near the top of the right window "Switch system packages to the versions in this repository", or you change /etc/zypp/zypp.conf to contain a line "solver.allowVendorChange = true".
Werner
I've tried "zypper up" and zypper dup", all "dup" wants to do is downgrade my version of opera.
And "zypper se -s -r <the LO-Factory-repo>" really shows version 4.2? Then there must be an unmet dependency, but I cannot guess which.
puzzled, Werner
me puzzled too here's an excerpt using that command
v | libreoffice-calc | package | 4.2.0.4-117.1 | x86_64 | LibreOffice v | libreoffice-calc | package | 4.2.0.4-117.1 | i586 | LibreOffice v | libreoffice-calc-extensions | package | 4.2.0.4-117.1 | x86_64 | LibreOffice v | libreoffice-calc-extensions | package | 4.2.0.4-117.1 | i586 | LibreOffice
And "zypper in libreoffice-calc-4.2.0.4-117.1" does not work either? Did you lock your currenty version of LO in YaST? Werner -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
