On my KDE systems I have installed Konqueror, Mozilla (Suite), Mozilla Firefox, Epiphany, Opera, links, and lynx. They all work great and in harmony with each other. I even run Konqueror and Mozilla at the same time.
Thanks NSK, Synthetic Cartoonz and Jos for feedback. I've heard good things about Mozilla, so I guess I'll have to try it. This thread started as a request for help with KHTML. Returning to this problem I'd appreciate a hint or two. Problem: When I try to click on an html file Konqueror says there is a conflict because Konqueror cannot handle this file type. I understand that KHTML does so for Konqueror. Jos (who has departed on holiday) suggested that I configure Konqueror - File Associations for text - html, as Konqueror under the General tab, and KHTML under the Embedded tab. That didn't work, so he suggested renaming .kde and rebooting. That fixed it ---- but it stuffed up my email and I had to return to the old .kde to get this email up and running. So, now I know that it is a configuration problem; but which file? I've run diff but it is painful working through two very different large directories. Thanks for any suggestions, Regards, Colin
