I take back everything hopeful and positive that I said about opera it is for crash test dummies. I went too two sites then crash restarted went to another site crash crash. Maybe the java did it but it suxs. L8R Ian jljr@pa.net writes:

I did not have that error with SuSE 6.3, but had a similar error loading Mozilla M12, had to download the library from ftpsearch.lycos.com to my /usr/lib and run ldconfig to get M12 to load.
Opera seems fast, but needs a lot more to be finished. Actually kfm is faster than netscape on my system, but doesn't handle everything as well as Netscape does.
It is noce to know there are good alternatives on the horizon.
