Hi All, I use netgo on a laptop to configure/select/connect-to multiple wireless networks (mine, my girlfriend's, the local coffee shop, etc.) I'm now working on another laptop for a friend, and his system is running SuSE 10, with a DLink DWL122. It's a little 802.11b USB device, which works perfectly out of the box (yee haarrr!) BUT... for some reason, although it runs fine and connects to my WEP network when configured with Yast, it won't configure using netgo. More generally, if I use the iwconfig command directly, then iwconfig fails saying: Error for wireless request "Set ESSID" (8B1A) " SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported. What gives? How does yast configure this thing that iwconfig can't achieve? And how can I set up the system so that it allows multiple "contender" networks and connects to the first that is live? Thanks in advance, Simon "You can tell whether a man is clever by his answers. You can tell whether a man is wise by his questions." Naguib Mahfouz __________________________________________ Yahoo!
