Does it mean anything, that I'm trying to use 10.1 stuff for 10.0 retail ?
Hi Erik,
Why are you trying this? I don't think this is going to work, Erik.
If you want 10.1, install 10.1. If you want to upgrade 10.0 to 10.1 (as opposed to installing 'fresh',) at least try doing so using the 10.1 installation DVD. You're asking for trouble if you're trying to upgrade the system while it's running.

Carl
Nor do I think it will succeed Carl.
But at the time for asking for help to install the new KDE 3.5.3, I couldn't find anything about it for 10.0, but there was for 10.1.
I still haven't found the updates for KDE3.5.3 for SuSE 10.0.
Perhaps you didn't look hard enough: http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/KDE3/SUSE_Linux_10.0/ *That* is what you need! Fireup smart's GUI, and delete *all* 10.1 channels. As I could not find an easy way of adding a channel in the smart GUI, I say quit the GUI, and add the above 10.0 channel to smart. You must know by now how. Then try again. :) Cheers, Leen -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
