I have burned other disks and read them in other drives quite succesfully from the same dual layer drive. It could be a number of things from media used (Infiniti brand) to very slightly different tracking of the laser in the two drives. If I had another DVD drive I would check the disk in that. Unfortunately I don't :-( When I get the opportunity I will check it against another though.

ALWAYS check the DVD burner's website for firmware updates. My NEC ND-3520AW didn't support several formats with the firmware out of the box. A quick update and it does almost everything known to the DVD burning universe except dual-layer multisession. www.CDFreaks.com is a good place to start... Stan
