I've a HP LaserJet 5MP since 1995. A perfect bw simplex machine. But the times demand colour prints in both faces of the pages.
Can anyone give me recommendations for colour laser printers? Of course they have to be Postscript ones.

I have a Xerox 8550 DP at work. Prints are beautiful. It's not really a laser, it's a di-sub. Uses wax blocks. It's nick is the Crayola Printer. Kicks out about 20+ sheets when duplexing. The wax holds up really well on the prints. If you get one of these (or whatever the latest version is) - do not turn it off unless it is absolutely necessary. You'll go through those wax blocks in record time. Turn it on and leave it on. And forget the shelf life for "toner" consumables - unlike traditional laser toner refills. There isn't a great deal of maintenance on this printer either, unlike an HP 4550. Has the smallest footprint I've seen for a network color printer. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
