job. I use 4.4 for the mailing lists and occasionally bring my backed up mail into Kontact to see how and if it works. e.g. Try and suspend a reminder in Kontact in 4.4, you can only dismiss them.
It works for me, or am I missing something?

In my case, i get the reminder on the day and the only button enabled to press is the "Dismiss all". You can change the the suspend time but the suspend buttons remain greyed out.
The reminder popup contains a list of reminders. If you select the first reminder, does the Suspend button enable? Nope. If i remember, you can't even dismiss individual ones. You can press "Dismiss" to cancel a selected single one in a group but it stays in the list. I have to "Dismiss All"
I just did another test with a fresh appointment and i got the same result. Is it possible to have the reminder daemon running without launching Kontact?
/usr/bin/korgac - should be started along with Kontact/Korganizer and remain running after they quit, unless you have disabled 'start reminder daemon at login' in it context menu.
Thanks, i will give it a try. i would like to have it running without having to launch kontact
