i use the yast with 5.1 (.79?), and i got the same error, but when i tried kde4 after that, it worked just fine, so for the time being, i am not worrying about it. aaron kyle Edbauer wrote:
Hopefully, there are still some of you out there after all those bounces.
I have upgrade yast on two machines and then installed the KDE-beta4, that I got off of the SuSE FTP site. Upgrading to yast 89.? went fine. However, after installing the KDE packages that SuSE put together, I am getting an error in Suseconfig:
ERROR - can not find /lib/YaST/SuSEconfig.functions!! This should not happen. Exit...
then configuration continues.
After installing the QT libraries. I installed the packages in this order: 1)kdesupport 2)kdelibs 3)kdebase and then the rest of the packages. That was the order suggested on the KDE web site. I haven't noticed any problems since the install. In fact, everything is running really well. The "This should not happen" bothers me. I couldn't fine SuSEconfig.function on my other system before installing KDE on it either. Any ideas?
thanks
