Why not just install the "liberation-fonts" instead, rather than worry with those? I thought these were built to replace all the msttffonts, so it would be another reason for users to quit depending on MS stuff?
Liberation doesn't do the full set: Microsoft Web Font Liberation Font Andale Mono - Arial Liberation Sans Arial Black - Comic Sans - Courier New - Georgia - Impact - Lucida Console Liberation Mono Times New Roman Liberation Serif Trebuchet - Verdana - Most Linux systems come with a bitmap Courier font that doesn't match Courier New's range of sizes. DejaVu Sans is close to Verdana, but there are still a lot of blanks. -- " A patriot without religion . . . is as great a paradox, as an honest man without the fear of God."
