Why have you got 4GB of RAM otherwise. Apparently because you need it. If you could you with 64 MB you wouldn't buy that much right? And if you need *that* much, you naturaly have a chance of running out. Depending on the type of usage characteristics of the server you may choose from 0.2 to 5 times the amount of RAM as swap space. Although I bet there are several articles/postings floating around on the net of sysadmins who have shared their experience in writing, in my opinion it is best to try, then collect statistics, and re-run this until you are happy with the configuration.
