my upgrade goof

Just upped 15.3 to 15.4 but I think I made a mistake. Looking at the auto selected packages I thought 'let's upgrade almost everything' and ended up with a 1-hour run. Then to make things worse (and maybe because og my goof) the subsequent on-line update with yast took anothe hour. Later today I'm going to upgrade the Leap partition on my g73 laptop but think I should only upgrade the auto-selected packages. Would this upgrade everything that needs upgrading to become 15.4?
