Just curious if anyone is using Evolution to talk to Exchange. It works sporadically and times our frequently with various ldap errors.
Our exchange server is on the same subnet and is hardly breaking a sweat resources wise. My mailbox is relatively small (way less than 1gb total mail). Someimtes it will display all my mail folders and thereafter when I try to change folders it says scanning folders... and will eventually fail 99% of the time.
Alternatively, are the any other mail programs (ldap capable) that are ready for true enterpise use?
Unfortunately, only Outlook. :(. I have played with Kontact, Evolution etc and they all fail/underperform when it comes to really work in a corporate environment.
Thx, rhugga
-- Osho just what is this (corporate environment) some people keep harping on about is it not JUST a large collection of extreemley unsafe M$ Corp infected PC's loosing more data than it is worth trying to get a handle on with the odd dose of sco thrown in for good measure and maybe a bit of mac as well althou what for i fail to see appart from an excuse to spend abnormally large ammounts of money on stuff that can be done on a cheaper x86 based system with less outlay .
