I searched for awhile on how to interactively boot beos with lilo in the mbr and settled on my time honored approach of copying the BE kernel to floppy and then moving it to suse, adding a stanza which referenced the kernel and the drive. Voila, now booting beos from lilo.
Its BEnice.
One thing I forgot to add and that I did not try is that one can use the BEos bootloader to boot linux. I did not feel truly adventurous so did not try this alternative.
