Don't know if it is the right way, but I setup all my mappings to this:

smb://AD_Domain\user_name@server/share

For example on of my bookmarks in Konqueror is:

smb://vims%5Ce515421@sfile2/TechServices/

(The %5C is equal to a backslash.)

That looks interesting. Do you set that up in smb.conf or somewhere else?
