I disagree. The important thing is the laptop model. The wifi hardware is which comes with that laptop model, clients don't have a choice.
I agree with Patrick here. It's the wifi hardware that is causing the problem, so that is most important. Yes, it's fitted in that laptop but it might be fitted in others as well. So the wifi part number should be in the subject.
+1. Nobody cares about the laptop model. The support for the wifi module is not specific to the hardware.
