On most of my machines SAMBA runs flawlessly, but on one box (a laptop) nmbd is always dying, which of corse prevents Windows clients from seeing it in Network Neighborhood. This is on 7.3. I don't have any problems with other 7.3 boxes. THere are errors about "ignoring master announce "in /var/log/samba/log.nmbd but that's all. Any ideas what might be causing this? ---------------------------------------------------- Jonathan Wilson System Administrator Clickpatrol.com Cedar Creek Software http://www.cedarcreeksoftware.com
