Sounds like it is synchronising with an online time server, and is possibly set to the wrong time zone? (Suppose you're in London, but the computer thinks you're in Berlin, it would always set one hour ahead.) Try checking in YaST > Date and Time - is the time zone correct? - if you click 'Change' and then 'Sychronise now', does it synchronise correctly? Haro On 12/01/12 15:16, Swapnil Bhartiya wrote:
My openSUSE 12.1 KDE. Changes the time automatical and goes one hour ahead. I tried to change it and few hours later it skips an hour. I am not using any time server and have saved it manually. Any fix? And when I try to select the 'Set time and data automatically, it throws this error "Unable to authenticate/execute the action: 6,"
The hardware clock is fine. Please suggest:
