Well, my Linux install is at the end of my second harddisk (and above 1024 cylinders as such). I have no problems, though. I use Boot Manager (Comes with OS/2 and PQ Magic 3.0x) to boot between Win98 and Linux and have Lilo on the logical root partition of drive two (/dev/hdb6). Works like a charm (BTW: *don't* set the linear option. At least that didn't work in 5.2 and I suspect it still doesn't). Just my couple of bits of info....
