Not with the free Mandrake disk I had, or the copy of redhat I installed. Is it too much to expect that when I *pay* for a Linux distro from SuSE that they have checked that the software that comes with it works?
Mandrake and Redhat have a compiler which is known to be bugful. They have also their problems. For what I have understood of your question in the first post, you are missing what the lx_suse24 package is, right? Use yast2, installation packages => series d and you will find it. Sorry if misunderstanding, english is not my mothertongue. Praise
