No, I don't want to prevent my students from installing additional packages. The goal is to provide a sane and uniform initial installation.
It wouldn't if you ended your process with: zypper rl tracker tracker-miner-thunderbird tracker-miner-firefox tracker-miner-files tracker-gui nautilus-extension-tracker-tags grilo-plugin-tracker libtracker-extract libtracker-miner Locking out before you start then unlocking after has to be much quicker than allowing the installs to take place and then uninstalling.
