No. Anyway, either Canon supplies a driver for network scanning (like HP does) or you find a possibility to connect the device locally to a computer (most probably via usb), make scanning working there with sane and finally use sane via the network.
I found and installed the official Canon Linux software driver for the scanner component... sadly, it ONLY supports USB scanning.. not network scanning...
Looks like we are out of luck here... :-(
C. If you can get it to work with sane then there is a network access daemon (saned) that will work with Linux. This can be setup via YaST.
