It is my understanding that all the install problems have been resolved when the OpenSuSE V10.1 was remastered. If I install SuSE 10.1 using these CD's can I then buy the boxed version to obtain programs which are not on the "free" set of CD's. I assume programs such as a FORTRAN compiler are included only on the purchased double layer DVD.
Second question: Is there a site where one can get access to all the RPMS which are included on the double layer DVD?
Buy the box to support the cause. But actually Novell does not hold anything back. Whatever is not in the remastered DVDs/CDs you can get from one of the two official repositories that you should add to Yast: a)Server: download.opensuse.org ; Directory: distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source/ b)Server: download.opensuse.org ; Directory: distribution/SL-10.1/non-oss-inst-source/ Carlos FL
