Ergo, never put your trust on a single instance.
sure. nearly every 5 years, the storage get a leap. Then you have to upgrade your storage. As it involve better medium, it's often friendly. I very recently buy 5Gb usb hard drives for my 4Gb archives, spread on 5 to 6 lesser capacity drives. I now have three usb boxes, on various physical places, and I update them on round robin way. I still have the old disks, I only use then when necessary, never delete the content. Sometime I have to go to an old dvd (sometime faster to remember where it is than to scan a 5Gb data collection :-) jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
