My wife and I share the same email address.
Bob: You and your wife are both grown-ups now.
You can each have your own email address.
I'm sorry this doesn't address your original issue, but the whole approach of shared email accounts in this day and age is just wrong on so many levels as to make taking it seriously really really hard.
Why is it so hard? They might have originally had only a single email address, when free email wasn't so easy to find or so easy to use, which neither are now prepared to give up.
Good point.
Yes it is. We have had that same email address for years and years. Back when the ISP only handed out 1 email address. Yes of course either of us could get a "shiny" new one but it would be a real hassle to notify the many many people who have always communicated with us at that address.
There is functionality "Reply to". Old account to send mails. New account to receive emails.
In KMail set default Identity to use old account to send emails, and Reply to new account.
Ummm... Guess you missed the original request. I wanted to send her mail from where I received it in 11.1 to her kmail on 10.3. I have a couple of ideas. I'll see if I can make that work.
