Sounds like you may have picked up a bad web page. In /home/<login_name>/.mozilla/default/ you will find Cache. Either clean it out or simply delete it (it will get recreated when you restart FF).
No. I get a crash quite consistently when viewing PDFs. I've upgraded to Adobe Flash 10, which may be significant.
At the moment my workaround is not to read the PDF within FF but to start up acroread externally
Ok, let's put down some basics. I am using 11.0 and KDE4.1.x with the latest FF. I have no problems with reading PDFs online because FF defaults to using Okular for reading such files. However, even when I was using KDE3.x I had no problems with reading PDFs online (I think FF defaulted to using Acroread for this purpose). As far as I know, Adobe Flash has nothing to do with PDF files but all to do with viewing video files. When you click on a PDF online, FF brings up a menu giving you the choice of what you want to do with the PDF file. Which option have you selected, and which app. have you selected to view it if you want to view it online?
