Is the card recognized on boot-up? invoke dmesg | more and look for an entry re: eth0
If you know the address and irq assigned to it, you should be able to do one of the following: modprobe eepro io=address irq=yourirq mem=address or you can put the info in conf.modules and just do a "modprobe eepro" eepro.o is the module used for the Intel EtherExpressPro. If you have a dualboot with windows, you can check what settings windows is using for the card and use them for your settings. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
