Hi Jürgen!
I'm not in doubt that Fergus Wilde is a nice person. But the issue of attachments remains. I have a hard time to see what fruits a discussion list can harvest from attachments. I'm running a Danish list. Despite the limited number of members, I had to block attachments. It was a rather simple job to carry out. I'm sure that the SuSE list moderator could do the same if he wished to do so.
Yeah, let's get rid of HTML postings and JAVA for that matter.
I second to this. -Kastus
Cheers,

Not not much fun. Fergus *is* a regular poster to this list and | *only* those subscribed can post. It comes down to a wrong mouse click | ;-( | | The question that remains is: Is there a way to strip off *all* | attchments from the mails to the list (yieppieh no more attached cards) | and / or limit the max size of a mail to a certain (say 32-64KB) limit, | to prevent the worst from the occasional misposting. | If this can be turned into a wish list, Id like to see HTML vanish too. | | Juergen
