Has anyone ever tried the swapon -s command? According to the instructions, the -s option should report swap usage by device. All I get is wapon: /proc/swaps :No such file or device Is this a mismatch between swapon and the /proc filesystem in my 2.0.35 kernel or am I missing something or is my system missing something? I think I'm using the swap partition since top reports usage. I know I have /proc, I can do cat /proc/interrupts and stuff. This represents my attempt to track down the cause of a series of deadly kernels OOPSes rather than mere idle curiosity.... TIA Andrew Ford System Administrator, Bond Dept. A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.
