Removing Windows partition and using it for /usr

Is there anyway that I can delete my windows partition as I have not booted into it for a long time and use it for /usr as it is 17gb in size or would I be better to use it for /home Sean -- I wish I was on a Cincinnati street corner holding a clean dog!
