I am new to Linux and have SuSE 9.0 installed on a partition of an IBM R32 Thinkpad. Having an Intel Corporation 82801CA/CAM AC '97 Modem, I found that slmodem-2.9.4 from SmartLink was the driver of choice. But running "make" from /usr/src/slmodem-2.9.4 was not successful and I got the error: /lib/modules/2.4.21-99-default/build: No such file or directory. Stop. An icon exists at /lib/modules/2.4.21-99-default for build, but clicking on it yields the error message that it doesn't exist anymore. So, what do I do next? I would appreciate any help.
