Hello everybody! I'm running suse5.1 for some time now and just realised that my ksh does not let me have the selected keytable. I have the correct one in vi and bash right now <shift><3> = '§' but in the shell itself I get the default from the kernel or so, which is <shift><3> = ''' . dumpkeys says I have the right keytable I can use loadkeys and xmodmap with no errors, but in shell mode it remains the same. Even dragging a '§' and dropping in an xterm leads to ''' ??? I have a file-name beginning with '§' as fist character and I think if I want to delete it I'll have to do something like rm -i * and type a few 'n''s and once 'y'. It's not only the <shift><3> key, so I want to change it. (no I don't want to switch to bash forever) please help arnulf -- know my poetry? - c...k -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
