Hi, all, I have a SuSE 6.4 and a sybase 11.0.3.3-6 and I want to create a DB in a raw partition. In the Sybase documentation said that I have to patch the kernel with: - Raw Disk I/o - Stephen Tweedy ftp://ftp.uk.linux.org/pub/linux/sct/fs/raw-io/ - Async storage I/O (KAIO) - SGI Open Source ftp://oss.sgi.com/www/projects/kaio/download/ Since linux 2.2.14 of SuSE 6.4 have the patch that works with raw devices I don't know if I have to apply this patches or not?, and How can I know which patches have been included in SuSE kernel? Is there any file in the distribution with the description of the patches?
