Hi to all, Just wanted to share with you my little experience with SuSE 5.2. I just got one CD (kind of simplified version) with one of the computer magazines and wanted to try. I really love it, although it is quite difficult for people who (like me) now nothing about Linux. So I went to look for some books and got a few, unfortunatly all with and about Red Hat 5.0. Then I was thinking which distribution should I use, the one I started to like, or the one boundled to the books. Now, thanks to the list I decided to stick to SuSE and purchase the 5.3 version (although wanted even wait for the 6.0). Being a GUI guy, I like the KDE and didn't have any problems with setting the internet connection. Of course I still have to work on it, but at least I can use email and internet with KDE. I managed even to install the OSSfree and got my AWE 64 pnp to work, although still not yet at full power. Once again thank you all for the support you gave to others and to me. Hope I will be able to contribute something once I get comfortable with the new way of computing. -- Boguslaw Czerniakowski PO Box 468 Limuru, Kenya - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
